Breda Pub Crawl

In the province of Noord-Brabant lies the charming city of Breda, known for its lively beer-drinking culture and festive atmosphere in line with typical Dutch stereotypes. This perception, in our view, is not far from the truth.

Apart from its vibrant bar scene, Breda is considered one of the prettiest cities in the Netherlands.

Although several party clubs do not qualify as pubs and are therefore not included in this pub crawl, we strongly suggest that you visit them after completing this crawl. If you're a party enthusiast, Breda is undoubtedly the place to be.

We hope that you enjoy the pub crawl and let us know what you think via our social media channels.

The pubs

Dok 19

Dok 19 is a contemporary bar with a distinct personality of its own. Despite its modernity, it has managed to retain its unique charm. The menu boasts an extensive selection of beers, including a few local brews that are definitely worth trying.

Studio Dependance

You'll find that this pub has had the honour of a visit from none other than the king of the Netherlands himself. And it's not the only bar on this website that has had such a distinguished guest; Café de Eland in de Jordaan is another such establishment. It's easy to see why the king chose to visit this particular pub, as it is undoubtedly a top-notch choice.

De Bruine Pij

At first glance, this bar may appear to be a regular Dutch bar. However, upon stepping inside, you'll be greeted by an unusual sight - two horse figures suspended from the ceiling. Rest assured, they're not real horses! The quirky decor is just one of the many highlights of this bar. The menu boasts an impressive selection of beers, and the overall vibe is simply great.

Heeren van Breda

Despite its smaller size, this bar has been decorated with utmost care and attention to detail, giving it the ambiance of a classic Dutch pub.

Café het Zwarte Schaap

Café het zwarte schaap is a pub that requires few words to describe. It's a fantastic spot with a slightly dimmer interior that's well worth a visit when in Breda. All in all, a great place to spend some time.
